2013 Field Trips & Educational Tours
Cedar Hill Farm offers farm tours and maze adventures for young children. Our goal is to provide an educational farm experience that focuses on the products of a local farm. Tours promote the exploration of agriculture at a real working farm and include a fun and educational, age-appropriate, hands-on learning experience.

Cost: $7.25 per student and chaperone (price includes a small pumpkin; Free for Staff Members (must have visible school identification).
Dates: September 23rd through November 1st.
Time: Plan to stay for approximately two hours.
Check-In: Send one person from the group to the farm store with a final head count and payment.
Schools are welcome to use our picnic tables for a bagged lunch. Please let us know in advance so we may place straw bales around for the children to sit on.
Facilities: We have on-site bathrooms available and hand sanitizer stations.
Clothing: Wear comfortable shoes. It can be MUDDY, so if it has rained please have the children wear boots or old tennis shoes. Because fall weather can vary day-to-day, please encourage children to dress in layers.
Pumpkins: Bring a marker and/or bags to identify and transport pumpkins.
Rain: If it rains the day of your field trip, we will be happy to reschedule your visit. However, we can still accommodate your group in light rain.

Cancellations: If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled tour, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may fill your appointment time.
