From US 301
in Waldorf:
Going North on 301 from LaPlata, make a right onto
MD-5/Leonardtown Road and go 4.4 miles. Make a left into Cedar
Hill Place (there is a small wood-working shop at the end of the
road). We have created a large spider out of a round bale of
hay (this will also be a nice landmark). Go past the pond
towards the 2-story white farm house. Follow the signs all the
way back . . . and the hay spiders. Go behind the farmhouse and
make a left (there will be a small white barn straight ahead).
Follow the signs for parking.
From LaPlata:
Take Route 488 (LaPlata Road) to the end and make a left at the
traffic light onto MD Route-5/Leonardtown Road. Go 1.2 miles
and make a right onto Cedar Hill Place. Follow the directions
above.
